POTENSI TIGA PADANG PENGGEMBALAAN YANG BERBEDA DI KABUPATEN MANOKWARI
ABSTRACT: Three tipe of
grassland as a source of forage was studied to find out grass production,
botanical composition and carrying capacity. Those are become research variable
in this review. Descriptive and tabulation was applied on data analysis. The
results show that grassland at under coconut and palm oil field has higher
grass production (874,94gr/m2) and carrying capacity (1.05 UT/ha) than
grassland area and experimental field. Moreover, grassland at under coconut and
palm oil field is more dominant by leguminosa than grassland area and
experimental field. However, grass species are more abundant in grassland (14
species) area than others (8 grassland at coconut and palm oil field and 11
species at experimental field).
