UJI DAYA KECAMBAH BENIH TANJUNG (Mimusops elengi Linn) DENGAN BERBAGAI TEKNIK DAN LAMA PENYIMPANAN BENIH
Abstract: This research aims
to know sprout energy, germinate speed and germiantion value of Tanjung seed with
various technique and long storage seed which cover umber condition
(refrigerator and chamber room), keeping place (plastic and sack) and keeping
period (30 and 60 days). The object of research is Tanjung seed which is ripe
physiologically while germination media in the form of sterile sand. There is 6
treatment combinations in this research, that is packaging in plastic and sack
which is storage in refrigerator and chamber room with 30 and 60 days storage.
At the end of storage, sprout seed in steril sand. The result from result was
shown if umber, packing and period of keeping
influence to sprout energy, germinate speed and germination value.
Tanjung seed which is storage in chamber room and packing in plastic bag with
30 days storage is the best treatment because sprout energy resulted 94 % (up
to control 69,5 %), germinate speed 10,20 / days and germination value 33,24 %
/ day.
