TANGGAP TANAMAN PADI SAWAH DARI BERBAGAI UMUR BIBIT TERHADAP PEMUPUKAN NITROGEN
Abstract: The
study aims to determine responsiveness wetland rice from various age of
seedlings to nitrogen fertilization. Research was a pot experiment in a plastic
house Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, conducted from May
to September 2008. Factors that tested were the dose of nitrogen fertilizer and
age of seedlings. Nitrogen fertilization consisted of three levels: Urea 0
kg/ha, 150 kg/ha and 300 kg/ha. The age of seedlings including seed age 7 days,
14 days and 21 days. Observation data was analyzed by F test, followed by Least
Significant Difference (LSD) level 5%. The results showed response of wetland
rice plants of different ages of seedlings generally the same, namely the
growth and the yield increased with nitrogen fertilizer (urea). Dose of urea
fertilization 300 kg/ha gave the best yield on grain weight per clump at 49.38
g when compared with urea fertilization 150 kg/ha of 32.32 g and no urea fertilizer
of 16.42 g. Seedling age 14 days have the highest grain weight per clump
of 34.97 g.
