STRUKTUR DAN KOMPOSISI VEGETASI PADA AREAL BEKAS PERLADANGAN BERPINDAH DI DESA BUKIT BARU KABUPATEN TANAH BUMBU KALIMANTAN SELATAN
Abstract: The research was
undertaken as an initial step to evaluate structure and composition of vegetation
as the result of shifting cultivation.
The objectives of the study was to determine and analyze the change of
vegetation at areal left by during 1(one) year, 5 (five) year and 10 (ten)
year. Vegetation observation was done using 1.4 ha with Nested sampling
method. Data analysis was used with
Important Value Index and Similarity
Index. The results indicated the existence of improvement and difference sum up and composition of vegetation at each
research area. Similarity index which
was compared between ex-farm area which 1 year
by 5 year old age and 1 year by 10 year old age haved the type condition
which different progressively, while
similarity index at ex farm area
5 year by 10 year old age haved the type condition which same progressively.
