SIFAT FISIKA DAN KETEGUHAN PATAH PAPAN SEMEN PARTIKEL DARI PELEPAH KELAPA SAWIT (Elaeis guineensis Jack)
Abstract: The objective of
research is to know the possibility to use oil palm twigs as raw material to
make particle cement boards and to know its physical and mechanical
characteristic by composition variation with two types of cement product
(Tonasa and Tiga Roda). Factorial 2 x 3 in randomized completely design with
five replications was used in the research. The result showed that there was
not a significant different between two type of cement product. Meanwhile,
composition variotion showed a significant different on physical and mechanical
characteristics of particle cement board. The gigher cement concentration the
better is its physical and mechanical characteristics of particle cement
boards.
