SELEKSI BERAT BADAN SAPI BALI UMUR SATU TAHUN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN PROGRAM SIMULASI GENUP
ABSTRACT: The research was
done to predict the progress of individual selection of one year Bali cattle
weight in varions basic population structure, selection criteria, breeding
allocation, type of selection and 5, 10 and 15 years of selection period.
Sampling technique was done purposively and data collection was based on
the body weight perdiction at one year age. The average and standard deviation
of body weight were counted. Genup simulation process with Popsim modul for one
character in a population was applied in this study. There were 48 selection
models with the results of average body weight 126,32±26,24 kg. Base data used
was 126,32 kg, deviation 26,24 kg and heritability 0,31. Based simulations
result was 600 population with fenotype selection criteria, assortatif breeding
allocation, parental recording and length of selection 15 year with the body
weight of 180 kg.
