RESPONS PERTUMBUHAN ANAKAN JELUTUNG MERAH (Dyera costulata Hook.f) YANG DITANAM PADA LAHAN KERING DAN LAHAN BASAH DI KABUPATEN KAPUAS KALIMANTAN TENGAH
Abstract: The research aims to
find out the growth response of red jelutong seedlings planted on swamp /
wetland and dry land at the same
locality. In nature jelutong trees grow on swamp and also on the upland. Twenty seedlings are planted on the
site for five month. The result
of the research shows that
the height increment of jelutong seedlings planted on wetland are greater than that of jelutong seedlings
planted on dry land. This findings
hold also true for the diameter increment and the number of leaves.
