POTENSI PENGEMBANGAN TERNAK SAPI BALI DI DISTRIK BOMBERAI KABUPATEN FAKFAK PROVINSI PAPUA BARAT
ABSTRACT: Research aims to
study potency development of Bali cattle in Distric of Bomberai West Papua.
Research conducted descriptively technicsly survey, analysis and interview. The
result shows that Bomberai area has potency to be center of Bali cattle live
stock which is support by biofisic condition. Cattele have 300-450 kg weight,
body condition score 1-2, cattle shed 87 % which catagories good. Performance
of healty and reproduction are good. The farmer has knowledge about how to take
reproduction process and reproduction health. Bomberai area has 49,89 % natural
grassland, which consits of endemic species. The gress nutrien contens are dry
matter 19,87, protein 4154 %, fat 1,795 % and energy 3825 K.cal. Grass
roductivity is hight (2501,33 g/m2) with dry matter 583,95 gr, carry capacity
of this area is 4 UT/ha. 90 % of the farmer have hight motivation on working.
