Abstract: The Influence of Raw
Material Composition Stem to Pulp and Paper Quality of Leda (Eucalyptus
deglupta Blume )on Kraft pulping Process. The aim of research to find out
optimalize to use raw material of composition stem leda (Eucalyptus deglupta
Blume). The result of research shown
Pulping proses of stem in optimal condition have screened yield, total yield,
uncooked wood and Kappa number are 45.72 %, 0.31 % and 18.13 respectively. The
properties of paper (30oSR) are breaking length 5104 m, burst strenght 456 kPa
and tear strength 919 mN. According of physical properties of pulp, physical
and mechanical properties of paper, kraft pulping process of several
composition of stem are suitable as pulp and paper raw material the quality is
second grade.
