Abstract: Waste water
treatment of biology forms promise
something the choise. The plants can reduce
pollutant content to media with
extraction or immobilization from soil and/or water. This research used Vetiveria zizanioides L planted
with hydroponic and wetland
system in concentrate levels waste water
tapioca factory and form a pot
experiment. This research was aimed at answering the question : How do Vetiveria zizanioides L capable remediation cyanide in waste water tapioca factory?,
and How do adaptation mechanism. Result for question, indicated that Vetiveria
zizanioides L capable decresed cyanide until
100% concentrate level in the amount of 57% in hydroponic system and 68 % in wetland system. Interaction cropping system
and consentrate levels waste water system significant effecs to total biomass.
Vetiveria zizanioides L capable
adaptation in wetland system becouse
have the aerenchyma space had a high (32,73 %) compared growth without
polluted in field capacity (29,28). This Research was demonstrated that Vetiveria zizanioides
L capable remediation cyanide in waste
water tapioca factory.
