KEANEKARAGAMAN HAYATI PULAU SEBUKU KABUPATEN KOTABARU KALIMANTAN SELATAN
Abstract: The aim of this
research was to know the biodiversity of flora and fauna in the island of
Sebuku Kotabaru district, South Kalimantan Province. The research method used
field survey with a purposive sampling and using the line transect.
Observations show that the diversity of flora species found in Sebuku Island,
to the level of village location Kanibungan pole is higher compared with other
locations, the Kanibungan Village (H '= 1.08), Dungun River (H' =0.85), Tanjung
kepala (H '= 0.61), Sarakaman River (H' =0.46) and the Tanah Putih Village (H
'= 0.45). As for the level of most tree shave the highest diversity was found
in the Kanibungan Village (H '= 2.01), River Sarakaman (H' =0.97), Tanjung
Kepala (H '= 0.69), Tanah Putih (0.37), and Dungun River has the lowest
diversity (H '= 0.29). Diversity of fauna were found on the Sebuku Island
consists of 6 kinds of mammals, 22 species of aves and 8 kinds of reptelia.
