KARAKTERISTIK BAHAN BAKAR DAN PERILAKU API PADA KEBAKARAN HUTAN DAN LAHAN RAWA GAMBUT
Abstract: The objectives of
this Research were to know fuel type, situation of water in peat farm, and fire
behaviour at swamp peat land and forest fire. The research located Tumbang Nusa
Village, District Of Jabiren, Sub-Province Pulang Pisau District, Province of
Middle Kalimantan. Result Research indicate that highly of fire surface was 130
cm until 210 cm, while for the speed of moving
58.1 m2 / minute until 160 m2/ minute. While for the burning of fire in
peat farm and 10 cm / day up to 15 cm / day. Situation of fuel surface of ferny
type of height and 132.2 cm until 150.4 cm while weight was 5,6 kg/m2 until 8,2
kg/m2. For the fuel of peat in a state of wet of weight was 573 kg/m3 until 585
kg/m3. The Condition of rate irrigate surface fuel was between 10.88% - 18.89%.
