KAJIAN TINGKAT BAHAYA EROSI DI SUB-DAS TEWEH, DAS BARITO PROPINSI KALIMANTAN TENGAH
Abstract: The objective of
research was to know the amount of erosion and level of the erosion danger that happened in each land unit in
Sub-Watersheed Teweh, while this research result was expected can be useful to
plan the usage of land and action of soil and land conservation so that can
improve to repair the condition arrange the water and improve the earnings
commuity of around Sub-Watersheed Teweh.Estimate Method of erosion level in
each land unit calculated by using formula developed by Wischmeier and Smith in
the year 1958 in the form of equation recognized Universally is Soil Loss
Equation ( USLE) ( Utomo, 1994 and Asdak, 1995). Based on the study result
obtained by that unit of farm A05Sb ( coppice) having the amount of biggest
erosion that is 361,708 ton/ha/yr, while unit of farm A01Hs ( forest sekunder)
having the amount of erosion which 1,221 ton/ha/yr.There waere the level of
erosion danger on land unit A01HS,
A02HS, A03HS, A04HS, A05HS that showed low level I, land unit of A01SB, A01Al, A06HS and A07HS
criterion was II, land unit of A02SB
criterion III and lan unit of A03SB, A03Al, A04B and A05SB of criterion very
heavy. Level erosion danger was very heavy obtain;get the first priority was
which embrace of action of conservation of land;ground and water which was
adapted for by the condition of environment.
