KAJIAN SIFAT-SIFAT DASAR KAYU MANIS SEBAGAI PERTIMBANGAN PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH PEMANENAN KULIT KAYU MANIS (Cinnamomum burmanii, Blume)
Abstract: The aim of this
research was to get alternative using part of Kayu Manis that assumed as waste
of Kayu Manis harvesting. The first, we had to know basic characteristic from
three uneven age namely < 5 years old, 5 – 10 years old and more than 10
years old, so we could give recomendation about type purpose to suitable for
other purpose. The result of this research showed that part of Kayu Manis that
assumed as waste could be meubelair and furniture, raw material for timber,
venir and plywood, and maybe to be used as raw material of pulp and paper. For
special purpose, we had to consideration about extractive, density, and soon.
