INVENTARISASI DAN IDENTIFIKASI PENGEMBANGAN LAHAN GAMBUT EKS PLG DI KABUPATEN BARITO SELATAN PROVINSI KALIMNTAN TENGAH
Abstract: PLG Project 1
million hectare in Central Kalimantan was government obsession which was
knowing as Mega Project One Million Hectare (Kepres 82/1995), but discontinued
(Kepres 80/1999) and in 2007 was laboured (Inpres 2/2007). Peat farm ex PLG in
sub-province Barito Selatan had a broad 220,218.79 ha in Dusun Selatan, Karau
Kuala, Dusun Hilir and Jenamas District.
Peat farm management was important immediately done in right and
directional way because of function and benefit to continuation of environment and to enhance society prosperity.
The purpose from stoctaking and identification ex PLG in work region BP-DAS
Barito was to know peat farm condition and determining way (Activity Design)
peat farm management in 5 year start from 2008 up to 2012 . This study result
expected became model in execution activity RHL during 5 years (2008 up to
2012) in ex PLG in Sub-Province Barito Selatan. To get qualitative and
quantitative result, information and data which
obtained would be analysis. There was 3 analysis activity namely:
Satelite Image Analysis, GIS Overlay Analysis, and Qualitative Deductive
Analysis.
Pursuant to result of study Stocktaking and Identification PLG obtained
data if condition PLG located in 5 district, total wide of farm was 220,218.79
ha, according to farm condition there are has 7 utilization, 2 type of soil and
hydrologi condition have 43 river and canal,
and 8 type closing of farm , total resident is 90,934 head.Design
rehabilitate farm activity in order to development peat farm ex PLG was
development forestry crop (woody) for reforestation activity like Jelutung,
Rengas, Galam. While development forestry crop for reforestation activity like Jelutung, Kayu Bulan and rubber tree.
Estimate of budget in this activity for 5 years start from 2008 up to 2012
counted IDR. 1,134,897,315,275.00 and use for reforestation and rehabilitation
activity (people forest).
