FORMULASI KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH KABUPATEN JOMBANG DALAM PENGENDALIAN ALIH FUNGSI LAHAN PERTANIAN
Abstract: The problem in this
study is how the policy formulation by the Jombang’s Government in the control
of agricultural land conversion. This study is considered important by many
researchers due to agricultural land use that may affect the availability of
agricultural land and also sustainable food security both at the local,
provincial and national levels. While the absence of previous research that
examines policy formulation in Local Government on sustainable agricultural
land.This study used qualitative research methods with a strategy that is used
is a case study because it raised the issue of agricultural land conversion in
Jombang as a focus of research. While the technique of data collection is done
by observation, study documents, as well as in-depth interviews with
informants. Determination of informants conducted by purposive sampling
technique because it is considered as the most knowing and understanding of
policy formulation in the control of agricultural land conversion in
Jombang.The conclusion of this research is the process of policy formulation
sustainable agricultural land by Jombang’s Government with stakeholder
non-Government by an identification of agricultural land to be set into
sustainable agriculture land, alternative
selection agriculture land protection and drafting local regulations
regarding sustainable agriculture land
