ANALISIS STAKEHOLDER DALAM PEMBANGUNAN KPH DI KABUPATEN KETAPANG KALIMANTAN BARAT
Abstract: This study aims to
(1) study the problems in facing Ketapang FMU development, (2) determine the
role of stakeholder in the development of KPH (Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan). Data
was collected through in-depth interviews and literature review. Data were analyzed
descriptively and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the implementation of
development KPH partly hampered because of limited human resources, budget
constraints, the lack of support PERDA/ district regulations, and the land
claim by the communities. The stakeholders involved in the development of KPH
District of Ketapang include Dishut provinces and districts, BPDAS, NGOs,
Universities, customary communities, Bappeda, KPH candidates themselves and the
private-business that will support economic development in the aspect KPH.
Based on these problems, the strategy required in Ketapang KPH development are
(1) the use of force and use of land in an effort to meet the demand for wood,
e.g. HTR/Social Forestry and HD/Village Forest in the HP/Production Forest, (2)
Academics and NGOs helped draft the management plan of KPH, design and align
with the utilization of forests for timber and non timber forest product;
ecotourism, one village one product and the carbon market.
