Strategi Humas Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa

Sari: Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University is currently a World Class University. One way to reach a world-class university (World Class University) is to pursue Webometrics. In order to raise its ranking by rating Webometrics required roles and appropriate public relations strategy. The purpose of this study was to determine the PR strategy in promoting and supporting activities related to publicity World Class University, and public relations strategy in building the image of World Class University based on Webometrics. The research method is case study method with a qualitative approach. Informants in this study amounted to 2 (two) members of the public relations chief and head of the Center for Data and Information (PUSDAINFO) University Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this research is to use a triangulation of data collection techniques. Results and conclusions of this research is to support public relations strategy and supporting activities relating to publicity World Class University is divided into two parts, the first of which is to create a media publication to disseminate information on policies and information to the entire academic community, and the second is to establish cooperation with the media or the press. Public relations strategy in building the image of World Class University based on Webometrics assessment conducted by marketing the things that are achievements through the media of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University website. Suggestions from this study is to be improved public relations public relations strategies related to efforts to imaging the World Class University among others by improving or optimizing the website's role and functions of public relations for the University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa revitalized by improving human resources, both in terms of quality and quantity.
