ABSTRACK: Human beings are
story tellers,it was also told its own story, one in the form of novel. It devoted
a translation of the book No Feast Last Forever, published in America, than in Indonesia
biography has the title “Kisah Tragis Oei Hui Lan – Putri Orang Terkaya di Indonesia”.
The purpose of this study is to investigate, describe, identify, tell and show the figure
of a woman
on a biography
of translation. This
study used a
descriptive qualitative research methodology methods narrative analysis.
The focus of this study is to show the woman Oei Hui Lan through plot,
character (a character in the novel), point of view, the text and background
boundaries of time and place in the narrative analysis process. The
unit of analysis
of this research
is the text
of the story
in the novel.
The results of this study are summarized based on the formulation and
research focus based on the analysis
of such narrative:
