RELASI SAINS MODERN DAN SAINS ISLAM (Suatu Upaya Pencarian Paradigma Baru)
Abstract: The search for a new
paradigm in building relationships of
modern science and Islamic science uses the frame of mind Ian G. Barbour which divides the
relation of knowledge (science) and religion into four approaches: the firs is
the approach of conflict, the second is the approach of independence, third, is
the dialogue approach, and the fourth is the integration approach. Of the four
types of approaches, new paradigms of science can only be realized if
formulated based on the integration approach. This integration approach is used
to address weaknesses and shortcomings of
modern science to achieve the new paradigm, so that basic science has
ontological, epistemological, and axiological right
