POLITISASI HUKUM MEDIA DI INDONESIA
Abstract: The life of the
press and media in Indonesia since independence era has a long history. History
records how the lives of the press and media in Indonesia is strongly
influenced by the prevailing system of government at a certain time. Although
located in a different era and a leader, both in the era of the Orde Lama (old
Order), Orde Baru (New Order), until the era of Reformation, regulatory of the
press about the same, that is centered in the range of interests of power. Not
only the press-in terms of print media, but also broadcast media (radio and
television) experienced the same conditions. This paper reveals about the
various regulations governing the life of the media in Indonesia, as well as
various examples of cases that came with each era.
