PERSPEKTIF GENDER DALAM PENELITIAN KEHUTANAN
Abstract: The forestry
research that used gender perspective is still rare. The forestry research more
often used the conventional analytical perspective by excluding the gender
concept. This condition cause the women voice was left out from the analysis of
the research. In the other hand, women have the different aspirations from the
man. As a result, the research had a gender bias and did not reflect the actual
situation. When the result of the research became a base of public policy making,
it will produce the unbalance policy. This paper aimed to analyze the gender
perspective on forestry research. This analysis was expected to be able to
answering the question about how far the gender perspective was put into
forestry researches.
