PERKEMBANGAN ANAK USIA DINI PASCA BENCANA
Abstract: The development of
preschool children post disaster does not influence the psychological development
of children, by reason in a great numbers of social services by playing
activities conducted by foreign and domestic social institutions in evacuation
shelters. Disaster can be seen from its positive perspective for the children,
by reason such age children which formerly had not known and because they live
in evacuation shelters makes the children have many friends and they are
rapidly adapt and socialize with equal age children.
Such was the case after the children live no more in evacuation shelter,
their parent will register their children into Playing Group which has been
numerously built in surroundings of their settlement. Through playing, children
will have experience and comprehension on the world they need in life in adult
period, playing is a medium for developing cognitive, emotional and social
competence of children. Thus, playing takes important role in children growth.
Social service during the disaster and post-disaster has purpose and type of
positive activity for children development. By reason there are playings for
playful togetherness for the children and it can grow the solidarity sense,
regard their peers, grow their empathy, grow their self-reliance, knowledge and
thinking capability for the children and grow the imaginative capability, and increase
their creativity and regard their respective competence.
