SEJARAH, KONSTRUKSI DAN SOSIALISASI AJARAN PERGURUAN ILMU SEJATI (Studi Pada Perguruan Ilmu Sejati di Desa Ketanon Kecamatan Kedungwaru Kabupaten Tulungagung)
ABSTRACT: Religious
phenomenon is one of interesting
problem to be investigated. One of this is a theism
which amend at Tulungagung City, that is Ilmu Sejati Institution. Where this
Ilmu Sejati Institution is one of spiritualism that centered
at Sukorejo Village,
Saradan Subsdistrict, Madiun
Regency, which established since 1925 with glorious aim, that is to
guide the human to obtain a tranquility in the statesmanship life. In
order to obtain that goal, the Ilmu
sejati Institution has some instructions which will be conveyed in manual sheets
of doctrine which called as surat penget. The problem formulations in this
research are: (1) How the doctrine’s history in the Ilmu Sejati Institution at Ketanon Village? (2) How the
doctrine’s construction in the Ilmu
Sejati Institution? (3) How
the socialization effort
in the Ilmu
Sejati Institution’s doctrine?
The purposes of this research are to describe and analyze about the history,
doctrine construction, and socialization in the Ilmu Sejati Institution’s doctrine
specifically as follows: (1) Knowing a doctrine’s history in the Ilmu Sejati
Institution at Ketanon Village; (2) Knowing a doctrine’s construction of Ilmu Sejati
Institution; and (3)
Knowing the socialization
efforts in the
Ilmu Sejati Institution’s
doctrine. The approach,
which is used
in this research,
is qualitative, and kind
of this research is
descriptive research. Data
research is obtained through a
participatoric observation phase in which the researcher is as main
instrument, deep-interview with
various informants, and
the documentations are in
the form of
photos. The other
instruments are in the
form of
observation manual, interview
manual, tape recorder,
camera, and field note book. Data
analysis is done by using an interactive analysis model in which including
three matters, these are: data
reduction, data presentation, conclusion. This
research result had
showed that early
developing of Ilmu Sejati Institution at Tulungagung City
is not apart from the role of Mr. Tulus Notodihardjo as the first elder with
the family and the followers of Ilmu Sejati Institution at Tulungagung. Well,
the construction of the doctrine in the
Ilmu Sejati Institution for
the followers are
able to build
an individual attitude morally and
the five basic
principles of the
Republic of Indonesia-minded. The doctrine
of Ilmu Sejati
Institution is socialized
by three ways,
these are family educatioan,
the anniversary of the Institution,
and leather puppets
art. For the next
researcher about Ilmu
Sejati Institution is
need to convey
the contribution of the
Ilmu Sejati doctrine
education concerning formal education in Indonesia.
