PENGARUH BERLAKUNYA PERATURAN PEMERINTAH NOMOR42 TAHUN 2007 TENTANG WARALABA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN WARALABA DI SURAKARTA
SARI: The objectives of this
research are to determine the growth of franchising in Surakarta after
enactmentof Government Regulation Number40 of2007 concerning Franchising,
toknow constraints in developing franchising, and itssolutions in Surakarta. To
achieve these objectives, researcher conducts the empirical legal research.
Primary data collectedbystructured interview, and secondary data collected
bycontent identification. Data analysis is used editing analysis style. The
result ofthis research showed that Government Regulation
Number42of2007concerning Franchising hasnotsignificant contribution to
franchise developmentin Surakarta. There isnosignificant franchise
agreementregistration in Surakarta. There is a socialization problem, such as
lack of government officer. The solution is the government creates cooperation
with highereducation institution.
