PENGEMBANGAN KARIER TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA KARYAWAN DI PT. DOK DAN PERKAPALAN SURABAYA (PERSERO)


Abstract: Job satisfaction is a criterion for measuring the success of the company to meet the needs of employees. For that companies need to create a conducive environment, decent and fair remuneration, workloads in accordance with the employee's skills, attitudes and behaviors of managers to shape employee satisfaction. The satisfaction will be seen in a positive attitude towards work facing workers and the environment. Instead, workers were not satisfied with the negative attitude towards his job. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of career development on employee job satisfactionPT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero). The number of samples of this study were 96 respondents who are in the utility department PT. Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero). The sampling technique using boring sample. The study used a questionnaire that measured with Likert scale. Data analysis method used is simple linear regression with SPSS version 23. The results show that theres is not a significant relationship between the variables of career development to job satisfaction with R square value of 0.005
