PENGARUH DPK, CAR, DAN NPL MELALUI LDR SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS BANK (Studi pada bank terbesar di Asia Tenggara periode 2012-2016)

iasiinterveningi variablei toi profitabilityi ofi Southi Easti Asia’s largesti
banki ini 2012-2016. ROAi isi dependenti variablei ini thisi researchi asi
profitabilityi indicator. Therei arei threei independenti variablesi thati
used, whichi arei Deposits, iCAR, iNPL, iand ani interveningi variablei whichi
isi LDR. Samplingi techniquei usedi isi purposivei samplingi withi criteriai
asi thei largesti banki ini South East Asia providingi annuali reporti thati
usedi fori researchi variablesi ati websitesi banki ini eachi South East Asia
countryi duringi periodi 2012-2016. Obtainedi byi amounti samplei asi muchi 19i
companiesi from 20 bankingi companyi South East Asia’s largest bank in
2012-2016 period. Analyzedi with PathiAnalysis technique. Thei dataiis
analyzedi usingi SmartPLS 3 program. Thei resulti of thisi studyi provingi
thati Deposits and iNPL havei an effecti oni LDR. CARi hasi noi effecti oni
LDR. Depoosits, iCAR, and iNPL havei ani effecti on iprofitability. LDRi has
noi effect on profitability. Then, therei is noti variablei whichi has
significanti relationship towardi ROA imediated by iLDR as iintervening
ivariable. The reason for the growth of credit in Southeast Asias largest bank
in 2012-2016 period is not able to mediate implying that credit has a high risk
so that the bank must have a large capital to be able to cover in case of loss.
