EVALUASI PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK PADA PASIEN COMMUNITY-ACQUIRED PNEUMONIA (CAP) DI INSTALASI RAWAT INAP RUMAH SAKIT “X” JAKARTA


Abstract: Community Acquired Pneumonia (CAP) is pneumonia developing in patients with no contact to a medical facility. CAP treatment can be use antibiotics. The purpose of this study was to evaluate appropriate use of antibiotics at RS “X”  Jakarta with the parameters of appropriate drug, appropriate dose, and appropriate duration based on standard base line of Drug Information Handbook 2009, AHFS Drug Information 2011, Pharmacotherapy A Phatophysiologic Approach 2014, Pharmacotherapy Handbook Ninth Edition 2015, John Hopkins Medicine  2015, Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment 2016, Koda-Kimble 2013, and PDPI 2014. The research using medical records of hospitalized pneumonia patients retrospective by purposive random sampling method. Based on these result it can be concluded that of the 96 samples to the appropriate drug is 86,46%, the appropriate dose is 91,67%, and  appropriate duration antibiotic is 73,68%.
