PENGARUH SISA AMELIORAN (KAPUR KALSIT DAN BATUAN FOSFAT ALAM) DI MEDIUM ULTISOL TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS PADI GOGO (Oryza sativa L.)

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study to assess the effect of residual ameliorant (Calcite and Lime Rock Phosphate) in Medium Ultisol on growth and yield several varieties of uplandrice (Oryza sativa L.) This research was conducted in Experimental Field Technical Services Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, Pekanbaru. The study was conducted during ± 5 (five) months starting from February to June 2016. The study was conducted as an experiment with completely randomized design, factorial, consisted of two factors and three replications. The first factor: ameliorant remainder consists of 4 levels: Without Time Ameliorant: 22.99 g CaCO3 Ameliorant Time, Time Ameliorant Rock Phosphate 12.49 g, Time Ameliorant Limestone CaCO322.99 g + 12.49 g Phosphate rocks. The second factor upland rice varieties consists ofthree types: Inpago 8, Situ, Bagendit. Data were analyzed by ANOVA and HSD 5%.Parameters measured were plant height, maximum tillering number, date offlowering, panicle length, number of productive tillers, harvesting, dry milled grainweight per panicle, weight of 1000 grains and grain percentage pithy. The studyconcluded that the varieties of Inpago 8, Situ Patenggang and Situ Bagendit show different responses to a combination of residual ameliorant. The combination ofresidual ameliorate CaCO3 on the variety Situ Bagendit in Ultisol medium can promote the growth and production of upland rice.
