KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS ROTAN DALAM KAWASAN HUTAN TANAMAN INDUSTRI PT. BHATARA ALAM LESTARI KABUPATEN MEMPAWAH PROVINSI KALIMANTAN BARAT
ABSTRACT: The research was
purposed to obtain information about the diversity of species of rattan in the Industrial
Forest Plantations (HTI) PT. Bhatara Alam Lestari Regency Kubu Raya WestKalimantan.
The method used is survey method, with use data retrieval technique line
samplingmethod. Determination of observation using purposive sampling method
with plot size of 20 m x10 m. In the region there are 10 types of rattan, among
other Calamus caesius Blume, Calamus heteroideus Blume, Calamus javensis Blume,
Calamus manan Miquel, Calamus ornatus Blume,Calamus ornatus var. celebicus
Beccari, Daemonorops crinita Blume, Korthalsia junghuhniiBlume, Korthalsia sp,
Plectocomia elongate Martius ex Blume. The most dominant type rattan is Calamus
ornatus Blume with value (INP = 27,96 %), followed by Calamus caesius Blume with
value (INP = 25,79 %), and Calamus heteroideus Blume with value (INP = 25,73
%),lowest type of Plectocomia elongata Martius ex Blume with value (INP = 10,38
%). Thedominant rattan species is Calamus ornatus Blume with highest dominance
value (C = 0,01955), While lowest rattan species is the Plectocomia elongata
Martius ex Blume with value (C = 0,00269). The value of highest abundance of
rattan was Calamus ornatus Blume with anabundance of types of (e= 0,11946) and
lowest abundance found in Plectocomia elongataMartius ex Blume with value (e =
0,06668). Diversity index of rattan in the Industrial ForestPlantations (HTI)
PT. Bhatara Alam Lestari Regency Kubu Raya West Kalimantan is categorized in
the level of low diversity.
