UPAYA INDIA HIV/AIDS ALLIANCE (ALLIANCE INDIA) DALAM MENANGGULANGI PENYEBARAN HIV/AIDS DI INDIA
Abstract: This study aimed to
describe the efforts of India HIV / AIDS Alliance (Alliance India) in tackling
HIV / AIDS in India, as well as to describe the obstacles in efforts of India HIV / AIDS Alliance in
tackling HIV / AIDS in India. The data
presented is secondary data obtained through the study of literature, books,
internet and others. Data analysis techniques used in this research is
qualitative analysis techniques.
The results showed that the efforts of India HIV / AIDS Alliance
(Alliance India) in tackling the spread of HIV / AIDS in India is to support
the technical and strategic information in the field of health and information.
Efforts undertaken by Alliance India include establishing care and support
centers of HIV / AIDS, funding and experts, free condom distribution, related
campaigns on HIV / AIDS and public awareness of the importance of preventing
HIV / AIDS. Barriers faced by Alliance India is the lack of public knowledge
about how to prevent HIV / AIDS right, stigma and discrimination against people
living with HIV / AIDS and other vulnerable groups. The absence of legal and
social protection for vulnerable groups, and the threat of crime continues to
haunt vulnerable groups.
