PENGARUH KOMPENSASI DAN KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA (K3) TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA PADA KARYAWAN PT. CAHAYA SAMTRACO UTAMA SAMARINDA

Abstract: This research aimed to determine the influence of compensation and occupational health and safety toward job satisfaction on employees atPT. Cahaya Samtraco Utama Samarinda. This research used quantitative method. The subject in this study involved 134 employees. The Collecting data method used questionnaire of compensation, occupational health and safety, and job satisfaction with Likert scale model. The collected data analyzed with regression analysis with program SPSS 20.0.
The results showed that there is a highly significant influence of compensation and occupational health and safety toward job satisfaction on employees. In addition, based on the simple regression analysis model that indicated a positive and significant influence of compensation toward job satisfaction. Then, there is a positive and highly significant influence between occupational health and safety toward job satisfaction.
The result of multivariate regression analysis showed that all aspects of compensation and occupational health and safety had positive and highly significant influent toward job satisfaction. In addition, the final regression model analysis showed that (1) there is a positive and highly significant effect between salaries, inspection and discipline of work, as well as counseling towards work itself; (2) there is a positive and highly significant effect between increase occupational health and safety awareness, allowance, inspection and work discipline towards supervision; (3) there is a positive and highly significant effect between accidents statistical report socialization and environmental control aspects towards coworkers; (4) there is a positive and highly significant effect between accidents statistical report socialization and environmental control aspects towards promotion.
