ABSTRACT: Human trafficking is
a crime against human rights that resulted in the victim tormentedpsychological
, mental , physical , sexual , economic and social . In some criminal cases , especially
child trafficking , protection of victims issues often ignored by law officers
or by the community itself . The problems discussed are: 1 ) How appliance of a
criminal by a judge in an effort to provide protection to child victims of
trafficking in the Supreme Court decision . 2585 K/pid.Sus/2010 ? 2 ) What form
of legal protection of child victims of trafficking in the Supreme Court
decision . 2585 K/pid.Sus/2010 ? . This type of research is the normative
method . Data used include primary data and secondary data , the datacollected
by the study documents . The data were analyzed qualitatively . It can be concluded
from the study : 1 ) The application of criminal given by the judge in an
effort toprovide protection to child victims of trafficking in the Supreme
Court decision . 2585 K/pid.Sus/2010 ie , the defendant guilty of the offenses
set forth in Article 88 of Law no. 23 of 2002 on Child Protection , 2 ) The
form of legal protection of the child in the decisionmerely explained the
penalty imposed on the defendant is sentenced to imprisonment and fines.
