KERAGAAN KARAKTER AGRONOMI DAN STABILITAS HASIL PADI GOGO PADA SEMBILAN LOKASI PERCOBAAN
ABSTRACT: Information on
agronomic characters, adaptability and yield stability of upland rice is
important to know to determine which line have high and stable yield on the
entire location. This study aims to evaluate the phenotype, adaptability and
yield stability of some upland rice promising lines. The research was conducted
at nine locations, i.e. Lampung, Sukabumi, Indramayu, Banjarnegara, Blora,
Pacitan, Banyumas, and Sitiung at the Wet Season (WS) 2011. The material used
consists of 14 lines, i.e. TB490H-MR-4, MR-B11579E-7-1-1, B11584E-MR-5-2-3-1-2,
TB356B-TB 47-3, TB363B -MR-25-1-1, B11597C-TB-2-24-1, B11178G-TB-29,
TB-TB393C-2-2-2, B12151D-MR-4, MR-48-B11593F, B11942F-TB -12, B11592F-MR-2-3-1,
and Situpatenggang and Limboto as check varieties. Each line was grown on a
plot size of 4.2 m x 4.8 m using a randomized complete block design (RCBD) in
four replication, with 30 cm x 15 cm spacing, each hole consist of 3-5
seedlings. The lines had an average plant height higher and long age period
than Limboto and Situpatenggang. The average number of productive tillers,
number of filled grain and 1000 grain weight were not significantly different.
B12151D-MR-4, MR-B11584E-5-2-3-1-2, TB363B-MR-25-1-1, and B11178G-TB-29 lines
has high yield; 4.57 t/ha, 4.16 t/ha, 4.09 t/ha, and 4.08 t/ha, respectively.
TB409H-MR-4 has wide adaptability, while TB356B-TB-47-3 and B11597C-TB-2-24-1
was poorly adapted lines.
