ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN DAN KETERSEDIAAN UBI KAYUDENGAN KONSEP FOOD BALANCE SHEETSDI KECAMATAN MALANGBONG KABUPATEN GARUT JAWA BARAT
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
study was to analyze need or utility for cassava and cassava market state
output in Sub Malangbong Garut Regency. The needs of cassava and cassava market
output state used the primary data survey of cassava raw material industries
scattered in the study area. Then they were analyzed by using the concept of
food balance sheets approach, that aims to see the changing needs of cassava
structurally for variety of uses within a certain time. It is useful to conduct
a needs analysis of cassava supply at the study site visits by the use or need
of cassava for industrial and consumer needs of the local community.Production
of cassava on average in a year amounted to 32.046 tonnes. While the needs of
cassava per year on average amounted to 36.376 tonnes. The total requirement
for the cassava industries average per year is equal to 10.217 tonnes, while
total demand for cassava consumption is an average of 26.159 tonnes. The
average import of cassava from outside Malangbong per year amounted to 12.203
tonnes, while the average of cassava which traded or sent to outside Malangbong
per year amounted to 12.203 tonnes.
