HUBUNGAN TIPE KEPRIBADIAN DENGAN GAYA PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN KEPALA RUANGAN KEPERAWATAN DI RUMKITAL DR.RAMELAN SURABAYA
ABSTRACT: One of aspect
personality is role. A role is the set behavior that is typical of a position.
People have norms standar of behavior for roles and also expectations how people in
a position will
be have. This
study aimed to
analyze the relationship
of personality types in the style of decision-making in the nursing room
Rumkital head Dr. Ramelan Surabaya.
This study design
using observational analytic
design with cross
sectiona. Independenya
variable is the
type of personality
and the dependent
variable is the chief
decision-making style of
the room. Samples
were taken by
simple random sampling technique
obtained 30 respondents,
the head space
of wards in
Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya.
Collecting data using
questionnaires. Data analysis
using Chi Square test with a significance level of p ≤ 0.05.
The results showed that the head
of the room
Extrovert as much
as 16 head room
(53,3%), Introvert is
5 head room
(16,7%) and Ambivert
is 9 head
room (30%). The head of the room using a style decision Autocratic 1 as
much as 14 head of room (46,7%), Consultative 1 as much as 1 head (3,3%),
Consultative 2 as much as 3 head
(10%), and Participation
of Group as
much as 12
head of room
(40%).
One of aspectResults of statistical test
with correlation of Lambda value = 0.003 ≤ 0.05, HO rejected it means there is a relationship
between the type of personality to the
style of decision-making in the nursing
room Rumkital head
Dr. Ramelan Surabaya.
The implications of this study are as head space should Extrovert
personality as an open and friendly in order to lead effectively, as well as in
the decision to use autocratic 1 style of decision-making to reach decisions
quickly and accurately.
