HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KESEHATAN LINGKUNGAN DENGAN RESIKO DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) DI DESA GILANG RT.25 RW.07 TAMAN - SIDOARJO
ABSTRACT: Knowledge of
environmental health is
very important in
the spread and risk of dengue hemorrhagic fever.
Knowledge of environmental health can affect the degree of risk of dengue
hemorrhagic fever. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship
between the level of knowledge of environmental health with the risk of dengue
hemorrhagic fever.
The design was
analytic correlative with
Cross Sectional approach.
The population is 65
respondents. Sampling with
simple random sampling
technique as much as
56 respondents. The
sampling technique using
questionnaires and observation
sheets, after which the data tabulated in percentage then using SPSS 16.0
statistical test with the test Spearman's Rho Correlation.
The results showed
that the level
of knowledge of
good, 24 respondents with details
of 9 respondents
high risk of
dengue fever, 5
respondents were the risk of dengue fever dengue and 10
respondents small risk. Results of Spearman's Rho correlation ρ = 0.002,
because ρ ≤ 0.05, mean H0 rejected, which means that there is
a correlation between
the level of
knowledge about the
health of the environment with the risk of dengue fever
in the village of Gilang RT 25 RW 07, District of Taman Sidoarjo. Implications of
the results showed
that the level
of knowledge plays
an important role in
the spread of
dengue risk. Recommended
for party cadres
in order to provide education on environmental health, especially to
reduce the risk of dengue.
