HUBUNGAN ANTARA GAYA BELAJAR DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA STIKES HANG TUAH SURABAYA

ABSTRACT: Learning  styles  associated  with  how  children  learn,  as  well  as  the  preferred  way  of learning.  Learning  styles  are  consistent  way  done  by  a  student  in  capturing  stimuli  or information,  how  to  remember,  think,  and  solve  problems.  To  improve  the  quality  of  learning expected  someone  capable  of  using  appropriate  learning  style  in  order  to  achieve  satisfactory results.  While  the  determinants  of  learning  achievement  is  the  result  of  each  activity  and learning. Indicators determination can be seen from the results obtained GPA student This study aims  to  analyze  the  relationship  between  learning  styles  and  academic  achievement  of  nursing students Stikes Hang Tuah Surabaya. ,
This  research  used  observational  analytical  with  used  cross  sectional  approach.  The independent variable is the learning style and the dependent variable is the learning achievement. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique obtained 83 respondents are nursing students  Stikes  Hang  Tuah  Surabaya  level  2.  The  data  was  collected  using  questionnaires  and documentation. Data analysis using Chi-square test with significance level ρ ≤ 0.05.
The  results  showed  there  is  a  relationship  between  learning  styles  and  academic achievement of students Stikes Hang Tuah Surabaya (ρ = 0.02) that of the sample 83 respondents there  were  31  respondents  (36.9%)  using  Digital  Auditory  learning  style,  19  respondents  (23.8 %)  using  Visual  learning  style,  14  respondents  (16.7%)  use  learning  styles  Bimodal,  10 respondents  (11.9)  using  Auditory  learning  style,  and  9  respondents  (10.7)  using  kinesthetic learning style while as  many as 55 out of 83 respondents respondents (66.3%) received 2.76 to 3.00  GPA,  22  respondents  (26.5%)  received  3.01  to  3.50  GPA,  and  6  respondents  (7.1%)  who obtain a GPA of 3.51 to 4 , 00
The implications of this  study indicate that the digital auditory  learning style tend to be used  on  students  Stikes  Hang  Tuah  Surabaya.  therefore  it  should  be  the  method  used  to  use digital strategy auditory learning style so that the results obtained become better students.
