EFEKTIFITAS TERAPI SPIRITUAL EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE (SEFT) TERHADAP PENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PADA LANSIA DI KELURAHAN GANTING SIDOARJO
Abstrak: Hypertension also
known as high blood pressure or arterial hypertension, is a
chronic medical condition
in which the
blood pressure in
the arteries is elevated.
Blood pressure is
expressed by two
measurements, the systolic
and diastolic pressures, which are the maximum and minimum pressures,
respectively, in the arterial system. Normal
blood pressure at
rest is within the
range of 100-140
mmHg systolic and
60-90 mmHg diastolic.
Hypertension is present
if the blood pressure
is persistently or
above 140/90 milimeters
mercury (mmHg) for most
adults. Along with
age, almost everyone
has experienced an
increase in blood pressure,
systolic blood pressure continues to increase until the old age. In this case,
prevention of hypertension
used Spiritual Emotional
Freedom Technique therapy (SEFT)
This research method used Quasy-Experiment with non equivalent
method control group
design. The subjects
of the study
were 22 elderly
with sampling technique. Analysis
of data bivariat test using Pearson Product Moment analyst t dependent
(paired-sample t test). The result of
research showed that
the diastolic blood
pressure is within the
range of 90-100
mmHg before Spiritual
Emotional Freedom Technique therapy (SEFT) and 90->80 mmHg
after Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique therapy (SEFT). The result
of the research
showed that the
Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique therapy
(SEFT) can lower
systolic and diastolic
pressures for most elderly.
