ANALISIS KONDUKTIVITAS HIDROLIK JENUH BAMBU PETUNG (Dendrocalamus asper) PADA BEBERAPA PERLAKUAN
ABSTRACT: This study aims to
determine saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ks) of Petung Bamboo with several
treatments. This study was conducted in March-May 2015, in the Department of
Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. The treatments consisted of two factors;
first was bamboo treatment and the second was bamboo positions. Bamboo treatment consisted of 3 levels; both
epidermis and endodermis were not scraped, epidermis was scraped and endodermis
was not, and both epidermis and endodermis were scraped. In the secondfactor, bamboo was placed
horizontally and vertically. Based on
research conducted, Ks of unscraped layers ofthe epidermis and endodermis was 0
cm.sec-1. For the treatment of scraped epidermis and unscraped endodermis,Ks
was 3.04 x 10-10 cm.sec-1. For the
treatment of bamboo epidermis and endodermis layers scraped, Ks was 5.40 x
10-10 cm.sec-1. Bamboo horizontally placed had higher Ks than bamboo vertically
placed. The result also showed that
bamboo with higher density had lower hydraulic conductivity.
