UPAYA PEMERINTAH INDONESIA DALAM MEMBELA HAK NELAYAN TRADISIONAL DI PULAU PASIR AUSTRALIA
Abstract: This study aimed to
describe the Indonesian government's efforts in defending the rights of
traditional fishermen in Australia Sand Island.This type of research is
descriptive, which describes how the Indonesian government's efforts in
defending the rights of traditional fishing in the Australian desert island.The
data will be presented in this research is secondary data,form of data obtained
through the literature review of books, journals, reports, mass media,
internet, and other sources related to the problem.The data analysis techniques
used in this research is to analyze the content analysis of the written sources
to explain and describe phenomena.
The results showed that the Indonesian government's efforts in defending
the rights of traditional fishermen in australia sand island.This effort is to
propose a solution that traditional rights be recognized in Australia Sand
Island, hence the need for socialization of the agreements that have been made
by the Australian Government should always be made to the traditional
Indonesian fishermen.In addition to the establishment of the Law on the Rights
of Traditional Fishing is very necessary to be considered by the
government,because the failure of diplomacy does not necessarily have to make
the rights of the oppressed Indonesian traditional fishermen.Therefore, both sides
should have the same understanding in interpreting what is meant by traditional
fishermen.
