UPAYA CINA DALAM MEMPERTAHANKAN KOMUNISME PASCA RUNTUHNYA UNI SOVIET
Abstract: Post the
Soviet Union collapse, communism
didn’t have social power as before,
and liberalization-led capitalism
is the only
ideology that triumphed even to this day. The loss power of
communism in the international world also give
effect to China
which is a
communist country. Democratization current carrying values
of liberalization-capitalism turned
into external pressure
for China to participate
in making changes
towards democracy. Futhermore,
the response of the
domestic Chinese make
external pressure to
turn into internal pressure leads
to internal political
conflict between the
ruling outocracy with the dominant class. Nonetheless, China
chose to keep the values of communism. This is motivated by the importance role
of communism in maintaining political stability, economic and China’s security. Thus, the
China government decided to combine the
values of communism
into the China
political system and operate the system in a consistent
manner, both in society and state, in order to survive communism and accepted
by the majority of Chinese People.
