Student’s Ability in Comprehending Narrative Texts
Abstract: This
thesis discusses about
the student‟s ability
in comprehending narrative texts. The method was used in this research was descriptive
method. The technique
of data collecting
was measurement. The tool
of data collecting
was written test.
The mean score of
the students‟ in
comprehending narrative text
was 75. It shown
that their comprehension
narrative text was
average to good. Therefore, the
researcher hopes that
the other English
language teachers should always try to
create an interesting text and media for their teaching. Based on the
result, teachers can apply narrative text to improve the student in
comprehending narrative text.
