PERAN INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANIZATION (ILO) DALAM MELINDUNGI HAK TENAGA KERJA PEREMPUAN DI INDONESIA
Abstract: The purpose of this
research is to describe the programs that handled by ILO to women’s labour in
Indonesia. This research was using secondary data, the data got from literature
review there is collecting data that relevan with the research problem. The
literature are from newspaper, magazine and internet browsing.
The result of this research showed that the role of ILO in protecting
women’s labour right isn’t optimal its because in reality ILO only act as
promoter and facilitator to give work training and skill that involve matters
pertaining to manpower in Indonesia. The ILO’s role served are ILO as
motivator, catalyst, communicator, and facilitator. While doing the role, ILO
had been in cooperation with government and no government organizations,
especially in women’s labour in Indonesia.
