PERAN FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION (FAO) DALAM MENANGANI MASALAH KRISIS PANGAN DI REPUBLIK KONGO
Abstract: Food crisis that
occurred in the Republic of Congo. Civil war in the 1990s triggered a food
crisis is getting worse. As a result, residents of difficulty getting food
assistance, can not buy food, and halt agricultural production so that the
population undernourished. FAO program in addressing Food crisis in the
Republic of Congo, among others, to help eliminate hunger, food insecurity and
malnutrition, create and cultivate farmland, forestry and fisheries to become
more productive and sustainable. Reduce the level of poverty in rural areas by
providing jobs and Reactivate farming systems. FAO seeks to mitigate the food
crisis by making improvements in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries changes
look pretty good. The third sector can be seen tesebut improve food security in
the Republic of Congo.
