analyzes the military cooperation between Indonesia and Russia in Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s administration.
This cooperation is based on the condition of Indonesian military defense that has been poorly equipped. Russian was
chosen because it is a country
that can compete
with American and
European military technology without administration fee. The
focus of military defense cooperation
during Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in the 2004-2009 period is to renew and improve
the condition and function the main tool
of weapons system Indonesian armies.
