KEBIJAKAN EKSPOR FURNITUR KAYU INDONESIA KE AMERIKA SERIKAT PASCA KRISIS FINANSIAL AS TAHUN 2008-2011
Abstract: This study aims to
determine of the policy by the Indonesian wooden furniture exports to the
United States after the U.S. financial crisis in 2008-2011. The financial
crisis that occurred in the United States in 2008, beginning with the housing
credit crunch crisis a high risk (subprime mortgage), resulting in a decline in
exports of Indonesian wooden furniture. Crisis also makes exchanges and
financial market conditions globally have suffered very heavy pressure , which
affected the U.S. financial sector. With the release of the National Industrial
Policy No. 28 of 2008, not only to increase the return intensity Indonesian
wooden furniture exports to the U.S.. But also as a step solving problems
related to export activity. Also as a measure of national industrial
development that includes Indonesian wooden furniture industry. The results of
this study indicate that the application of the National Industrial Policy No.
28 of 2008 aims to build on the industry with the concept of sustainable
development, which is based on three aspects of the integral, namely economic
development, social development and the environment. More specifically on the
construction of the wood furniture industry strongly supported Indonesia
through the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia Number
119/M-IND/PER/10/2009 About Maps Furniture Industry Cluster Development Guide,
as a form of development of Indonesian wooden furniture industry is export
oriented. Some implementations have been achieved by the Government and private
parties to directly provide a positive impact on the growth of Indonesian wood
furniture industry.
