THE POTENT OF PHOTONIC DEVICES IN COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES
Abstract: We present an
overview of photonics technology development that having potential to be
developed intensively in support the computer network technology. The photonics
devices being presented are
VCSEL, Raman Amplifier,
and EDFA. Those
devices are having important function in an optical
network, specially in high rate transmission system.
