Pola Komunikasi Dakwah KH. Abdullah Gymnastiar dan KH. Jalaluddin Rakhmat
Abstrak: Two prominent da’i in
Indonesia become the centre of this research. Based on Rhetorical Criticism
which focused on communication actors,
message, and language factors, this paper examines the rhetoric style of two
da’i: KH Jalaluddin Rakhmat and KH Abdullah Gymnastiar. A thorough literature study was conducted
over texts written by those two Islamic scholars. Paired with interview and
observation on each majlis, research has found that da’i point of view
concerning his audience is matched with their communication style. Moreover,
life history, personal capacity, and different emphasis in religious
exercisizing became factors which determine their rhetoric style.
