Peranan Dokter Muslim dalam Mengantisipasi Kemiskinan di Sektor Kesehatan
Abstrak: Poverty is still
become one of huge problems faced by Indonesia.
According to Country Statistical Report (2007), 37.17 million or no less
than 16.85% of Indonesians was cathegorized as ‘poor’. Many factors became the
reasons of poverty, one of them was due to the lack of health and sanitation
standards. For poor people, health and sanitation is only secondary necessities
which would be provided if other primary necessities had been fulfilled. The
role of doctors, therefore, is very important. An ideal doctors whose
characters are based on Muslim values would be a great advantage to solve
poverty problems in Indonesia.
